This product is perfect for parents that have smart phones and are always on the move. Before this product I had the basic camera and camera viewer that I would always have to keep up with and remember where I put it last. Having this device hooked up to my phone, I always have my phone on me , so it's easier to keep up with and super simple to watch what my child is doing in the crib or room at any time. The camera alerts me if there is any motion or loud noises. You can determine your settings and preferences once you hook up everything. We currently have wifi, so I'm not sure how the camera would function without it. You can control what you view with the camera and can pan the room just with the touch of your phone. The visual is only a slight bit fuzzy, but I don't mind it, long as I can see what my child is doing. Overall, this product is easy to mount and station in your child's room, asy to connect to your phone and easy to access any where, at any time.
